I have tried about almost everything in their menu, by far this is the best I have had even in other states. Fantastic portions at a good/cheap price with amazing taste. Amazing food, good service, it’s addictive. Try it with your eyes closed and you would like it.

Worked with Joe to order a meal for my staff and it was a great experience. Needed to accommodate various dietary needs - gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian and there were no issues with all of these concerns. I needed to get to the food an hour before they open and it was ready with out any issues. Food was amazing and we had plenty for leftovers the next day. Thank you! Fresh ingredients, tasty food, huge portions, and great packaging. Extremely affordable. I like the bengal tiger and veggie samosas. The complimentary tea in the entrance is a nice addition. I can’t speak as to how authentic the cuisine is but that has had zero effect on the frequency in which I eat here. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Love the way my car smells after I pick up my carryout (not sarcasm).

Detroit Masala is the best place for Indian food in downtown/midtown Detroit. They have done a fantastic job adapting to this difficult pandemic reality. The restaurant has been outfitted to allow for safe no-contact pickup and they have been offering coupons for future orders that are a great deal. This is an ideal place to order pickup or delivery and get a great meal with plenty of leftovers for a very reasonable price.

Such a great staple for us! We love the vegetarian options, the food is amazing, great portion sizes, and the staff is friendly and always offering discounts. I wish I could have a never ending supply of the mango lassi!
